RoK prime minister concludes visit

 

Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea (RoK) Lee Han Dong and his wife left Hanoi on April 11, successfully concluding their official visit to Vietnam.

 

During his stay in Vietnam from April 7-11, the RoK prime minister held talks with his Vietnamese counterpart Phan Van Khai, met Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh and President Tran Duc Luong. They exchanged views on issues relating to multi-faceted co-operative relations between the two countries, especially measures on the active implementation of high-level agreements, thus promoting the comprehensive partnership between Vietnam and RoK in the 21st century.

Prime Minister Lee Han Dong also attended a meeting among Vietnamese and RoK business people and an information technology and telecommunications forum, hosted a banquet to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK), called at the Hanoi National University and temple of Literature and paid floral tribute to the President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum.
