DEPUTY PM DUNG WELCOMES CUBAN CONSTRUCTION MINISTER

   Ha Noi, April 18 (VNA) -- Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung welcomed Cuban Construction Minister Juan Mario Junco Del Pino's visit as a contribution to further strengthening the traditional friendship and cooperation between Viet Nam and Cuba.
   Deputy PM Dung was speaking at a reception held for the Cuban Minister this afternoon, April 18.
   Dung expressed his pleasure at the effective development of bilateral cooperation, especially between the two construction ministries. He also pointed to the need to boost cooperation in economics, culture, science, technology, education and training.
   Cuban Minister Juan Mario Junco Del Pino said that Cuba is ready to cooperate with Viet Nam in various areas such as supplying construction experts and engineers, helping set up consultancy offices for construction, planning and designing multi-storey buildings, and exchanging experiences in urban traffic management.
   The Cuban Minister said he hoped that the two sides would boost cooperation and joint ventures between the two countries in the coming period, and in particular, help the Viet Nam-Cuba Construction Joint Venture expand its operation.--VNA
