VIET NAM BOOSTS
TRADE EXCHANGES WITH CHINA AND JAPAN
Ha Noi, Jan. 19 (VNA) --
* Chinese Goods Exhibited in Ha Noi
Sichuan-made goods are on show at an exhibition
entitled "China's Sichuan goods-Ha Noi 2002" at the
Exhibition Centre in Ha Noi.
This is a big commercial activity of Sichuan
province in Viet Nam with more than 100 businesses participating,
including 80 producers from the locality.
More than 1,000 products, ranging from farm produce,
agricultural machinery, clothes, chemicals, electronics and
pharmaceutical products are on display.
Last year, the Viet Nam-China two-way trade
turnover reached USD 2.8 billion, including USD 40 million from
Sichuan province-Viet Nam trade.
The four-day exhibition will last until Jan. 22.
* Vietnamese Goods On Show in Japan
Viet Nam's traditional seafood and craft items are
being introduced to Japanese customers at an exhibition of
Vietnamese export goods, held in Matsuyama city in Ehime
province in Japan.
The exhibition, which opened on Jan. 16 and will
last until Jan. 28, was organised by the Trade Mission of the
Embassy of Viet Nam in Japan and the Ehime province's
Economics-Labour Department.--VNA
