Fisheries minister Ta Quang Ngoc is leading a Vietnamese delegation to the first fisheries conference on the Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation (APEC) forum, which started on April 21, in the Republic of Korea (RoK).

During the conference, which will last until April 27, Vietnam and the RoK will sign a minute on bilateral fisheries co-operation.

Seafood is leading Vietnam’s staples exported to the RoK with the revenue reaching US $110 million in 2001, an increase of 50.6% more than a year earlier. (VNA)
