COOPERATION BETWEEN PROVINCES OF VIET NAM AND LAOS

   Ha Tay, June 7 (VNA) -- Northern Ha Tay province of Viet Nam and Luang Prabang province of Laos have signed a cooperation programme on education and training, industrial and handicraft production, and import-export.
   The signing of the programme took place during a three-day working visit to Ha Tay province by Bounheuang Douangphachanh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Governor of the Luang Prabang province.
   While in Ha Tay province from June 5 to 7, Bounheuang and his delegation held working sessions with Khuat Huu Son, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the provincial People's Council. Both host and guest shared experiences in the development of education and training as well as handicraft production for export.--Enditem
