MGC

At the second ministerial meeting of the Mekong Ganga Cooperation (MGC), foreign ministers and senior officials of six riparian nations that form the MGC agreed on an action program to boost multi-faceted cooperation and sustainable development. The ministers signed the Hanoi Program of Action focusing on boosting cooperation in four areas, tourism, culture, education and transport. The six countries concerned include Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, India and Thailand.
