17 foreign projects operational in Dung Quat IZ

There are 17 foreign invested projects in operation in Dung Quat industrial zone with total capital of US $1.5 billion and VND 470 billion.

Of these projects, many are related to the petrochemical industry such as PP, PE and PS plastic, industrial detergent and a heavy industrial project for a seaport worth more than US $100 million.

The VietRoss joint venture built a wave control dyke of 1,600 metres to enable normal operation of the oil exporting port during light storm.
